The Nordic York Camarade at JORVIK Viking Centre October Tuesday 15th 2019 : York The Nordic Poetry Festival descended upon York! A remarkable event in a remarkable setting, a selection of the Nordic region's most innovative and dynamic poets presented brand new collaborations, commissioned and written especially for the night, with locally based poets in the Jorvik Centre!

We took a risk making this entirely improvised but I think we pulled it off. You have to respect the JORVIK and its completely idiosyncratic potential for a performance. I emailed ahead to ask them if one of their Vikings would participate with Morten Langeland and I, and Adam, or Ingvar, stepped forward…
