The first time I’ve curated a Finnish event, and in the midst of the tube train strikes, and on a boiling day, and with planes being cancelled, it ended up being a brilliant, communal, playful, memorable night. Candid arts hosted us, down in a basement space that is the kind of venue rarely seen in London nowadays, really atmospheric. Milka Luhtaniemi and Callie Michail / Sini Silveri and Prudence Chamberlain-Bussey / Ko Ko Thett and Susie Campbell led the way with new collaborations alongside Max Höfler and Patrick Cosgrove / Sophia Mold and Julia Rose Lewis / Agnese Graudina and Hanna Komar / Xelis de Toro.
